Interesting ABC article, I wonder if they know how to look at international pricing and see we actually get some vehicles rather cheap.

I just did another comparison on my 2014 JKUR this time from the UK with the RHD build as opposed to the US LHD build.

£35,235 in the UK for the same configuration as mine. Using xe.com that equates to $67,746aud not including freight, adr compliance, takes etc.

Yeah, private imports will make things heaps cheaper.

LOL. I did wonder the same thing

Interesting I just priced up a Trailhawk to the same spec I just ordered and it cames to 48000 US. That converts to 63800 AUS which just happened to be the full retail price I was quoted. Ended up doing a deal at 59000 drive away and 20k trade on the 2 door 3.8 man JK which is 5 years / 120000km old now. So compared to US prices I am actually quite surprised!
