Update: Department of Consumer affairs here in NSW rang Tom the "manager" at 4wd Systems (the guy that told us the lokka would fit AND that he would pay the costs). He openly admitted / conceded it was his mistake AND that he had said he was going to pay for the mechanics fees but NOW he is only going to refund the part and NOT pay for the fitting fees he caused.
The arrogance of this guy is astounding. Openly taunting the Department Of Consumer affairs lady.
It's obvious this guy never inteded to pay me anything and the reason why he wont get the part returned is because as long as it's not returned he wont have to pay anything.
Alter this week i will file the claim with court.
