Don't think so. The most time consuming and difficult part was removing the plastic sills without breaking them. Quick and easy to install the side steps.

Lift and slide into place.
Get the 6 nuts into place and tighten.
Put on the plate in front of the back wheel and tighten with three bolts.
Done.

There's a set of these available on gumtree, but missing the mounting nuts and bolts, TJM does not sell the mounting kit separately, I did ask.

Here's the fitting instructions to show that it's quite easy to do.

They do look good, not a big fan of chekka plate, but looks a good option for protection and a step.

I know what you mean. I was against the checker plate initially, but these steps look OK with it and seems to actually blend in quite nicely.

Wasnt too keen on the shiny chekka plate so I spray painted black and it looks pretty good, quite happy with the result

I'm keen on these as well (when my order finally comes in ).Just a quick question. I had a look at the install instructions and it appears that the rails slot into the holes under the door wells. Wondering how strong they are for downward force. i.e. Can you stand on them?
