Yeah I love the lift. I wasn't to happy with my KJ CRD from new with the "low" look to it specially after my TJ I had but now I'm back in love again. I can't wait to get offroad and! I'll come up with some cool action shots within the next month maybe even acouple of mpeg's of the KJ in action. The only problem now is to do something about the air intake being so low to the ground as the Victorian High country has to many water crossing which can be, at times, quite deep and I don't want to flood my CRD. Anyone come up with a solutions yet or seen anything on the US sites? By the way my tires are the standard 235 70's on BFG muddies. I had 33inch by 12.5 on my wrangler and I loved all 90,000kms I got out of them!!

Is it? Have they relocated the intake on the new model? Mines in a real good place, right at the top of the engine and protected by the slopey front bit (technical term!) of the bonnet.

Could you maybe fit the intake system off an old written off KJ to your new one?

The bits and pieces for my 2.5" to 3.5" conversion are on order. Can't wait! Pics when it's done, and when the new tyres are on.

I have been phoning places around for 2" OME lifts and I'm told by a number of places that their actually is not one av and that it is actually a 1 & 3/4 lift and not a 2" lift. Is this true or false?
I'm not sure if this is true because I see people here talking about 2" set ups on their KJ's.

The CRD intake is an 05 thing. I've checked. Not sure though if an 04 CRD airbox an intake will fit in it's place, I know the 3.7lt airbox is different, and I think you need to replace the box and intake. Need to see and 04 CRD.
