Hey Tassiexj
you been quiet lately ?? hows the xj going ?
the tyres i put on are recaps and they are more like a 32 in size than a 31 ,they rubbed on the control arms on full lock so i took out the stop bolts ,put 2 washers behind the welded on nuts and put em back in and fixed the problem
Yep, haven't be on much due to my month old son having his 4th operation this weekend . The xj will be getting its 4.5 lift in the next few weeks (Looking forward to that). I was looking forward to the trip this weekend (thats life), hopefully be able to go on one of these trips next year.
Family comes first mate !!
hope all turns out well with your son .
when you are ready maybe we can do a run to the dark side of Tassy and do a couple of track down there ,
I've done a couple down that way ,
Sawback Range was awesome !!!!!
Cheers

iocoman, was talking to the boys from ARB about these last week and they showed me a few photos of a bloke in townsville that put them on and had some dramas. he had a pretty big caravan and did alot of towing and with the extra tension in the suspension it actually bent the rails in the unibody. alot of damage eh, but obviously overloaded. not sure on the exact details but still worth keeping in mind when loading up with heaps of extra weight in the rear with the add on from ironman.
