I'm a bit embarresed about this one haha. Most times I go camping I like to go real simple and rough it but when it comes to Wedge it's a whole different story.

I like going Camping with others and meeting others. Sometimes we have a massive crew come along. That's why I go to Wedge and Wilbinga so often. I like all the toys like Generators and we are kind of known to take big stereos and disco lights up there with us and people usually end up partying on with us even though they laugh when they see me getting it all out.

I do hate packing up in the rain though and dont mind letting people use my camp kitchen as long as they keep it clean. I am a bit ******** about being tidy and get agetated if things are left a mess.

Most campers are pretty cool when it comes to generators.

If one's causing a problem, I just ask them to not run it all night. Never had more than a smart arsed comment, but they normally shut it up.

Had some fun one night at Double Island, our neighbours had the works, Generator, caravan, lights everywhere....AND. they were belting out Country music all night!

The next day, I moved his generator closer to his van away from my tent. He wasn't to happy so turned up the good ol Country crap.
Was o.k with me cause I had just fitted a couple of 12" subs and amps to my old TJ.

It was like a show down... he got louder, and so did we, Techno and house doof doof must be worse than Country.. when we woke up in the morning he was gone.... lol...

But... he was driving a Toyota..

Big open air, bush party / b-b-q's are fine with me as long as it's the right camping area for those activities.

As for generators - weelllll.................same applies IMO

Spent 5 weeks in a fairly remote spot one year and had forgotten there was a long weekend happening.

Some others showed up while I was there:
3 people in two vehicles,
a campervan
generator
laptops
2 caravan fridges

Knocked over every tree they could, parking the van and spent most of the three days they were there, making tossed salads and watching DVDs.

No they weren't touring - 8hr trip each way just for the weekend - go figure
