My roof use to leak but I read on another site not to over tigten the big screw things that hold the roof down, mine are just done up and thats it and it doesnt leak anymore, but the annoying part is the water drips on you when you open the door from the little gutter on the hard top...
Mine leaks when you open the door to get out when its raining. Have not found the leak inside the car as of yet though.
Did find the TRQ screws on the front windscreen were starting to rust so had a closer look and it looks like they did the screws up when the paint was setting and its cracked the paint hence causing the rust around the edges of the TRQ screw.
Also found a couple of sections on the inside left foot well where the strap for the door is attached had flakes of paint the size of a 5 cent piece missing....
Oh and a chip in the paint under the hard top when I had to remove it to take the soft top out.
All have been photographed and sent back to Jeep for authority on warranty work to begin.
Bought mine through Adrien Brian Jeep in St Mary's Adelaide and they have been pretty good actually.
Mine has always dripped on me when I open the door, however I just went out just then and the passenger floor is saturated with water. So now it appears to be happening with the doors closed too.....
I guess I'll try for a seal replacement. Unless anyone has any better ideas?
It seems it is coming from the channel between the soft top and the windscreen and then finding its way behind the pillar and staying hidden until you see the wet carpet.
Had the same thing happen on mine a few months back try removing your roof panels and wipe over seals to make sure nothing on them 'when you refit them give them a wiggle around before you tighten the clamps
best thing move your leg over when you open the door so it doesnt get wet if the leak becomes to bad remove the bungs from the floor to let the water out
or buy a kk or grand its a removable roof it will leak the joys of haveing a wrangler
