Above the right hand front recovery point looks like the old deppression of where the arb logo used to be. So at a guess yes it is. Hard core tyres though? NOT. But this will bring some good exposure to Jeep brand and shut those hummer jeep wannabes up for good.

Defenders cope with heaps of weight with coils the 130 have twin coils for the extra load. But interestingly the 6x6 used by the sas has leaves too. So maybe the fact that the leaves are better suited to heavy loads was a factor.

Just needs the Mickey Thompson tyres that the special forces buggys have and it would be better. Great recon vehicle and to terrorise the lines with!

Definitely an ARB bar but without the fog lights and blinkers. Wonder where this one is destined? The J8 is built in Egypt but I'd expect ones in service there to have a desert camo scheme. LHD...NATO or the US perhaps?
Just as an aside, if the Marines reckon a Hummer is under-armoured, how would they accept this? I understood the J8 to be primarily a transport and support vehicle, rather then a combat one. I know, I know- it's probably a mock-up/ concept.

Hey if I was a Somali pirate with a fresh $3 mil burning a hole in my pocket right now, reckon I'd be off to the Mogadishu Jeep dealer for a fleet discount

This might be a dumb question, but does this thing have any kind of roof?
