Measured from bottom of rim to bottom of wheel arch.

RF 688 to 750 62mm or 2.4"
RR 703 to 759 57mm or 2.2"
LF 700 to 750 50mm or 1.97"
LR 710 to 760 50mm or 1.97"

No other changes made, such as control arms, discos etc, although I'd imagine the only difference a control arm would make is amount of flex.

At least I wont get hassled by Qld Transport.
Just to let you know, I'm at 755mm front & 760 rear with King Springs which quote a 40mm (1.5") lift (I'd say they are rather conservative with their measurements as I know a couple of guys with Kings Springs on a Cruiser and a Patrol who've got at least a 2" lift).

On another note, I went from 670mm front & 680mm rear before the lift which makes me think you might've started with the "Up-Country" option. Still doesn't explain your current IRO 3" height though...

Thats cause Kings sag very quickly - Esp springs that are 4-5''

It really doesnt matter weather you have Up country or not- other that the fact that if you start at 680mm then going up to 780mm is slighly over... Once the OEM springs are out all grands are the same....

Its just that a 3 inch lift that goes into a Ltd will gain an extra 20mm from original heigh but will/should still be sitting at 770mm/780mm

Turismo, I see you have 32" Cooper ST's. What's their actual size? 265/75/16? Are they any good on the GC?? Any driveline problems? Do they fit OK? How are they on the road (noise, wet weather)? Good offroad??

I'm about to get new tyres and trying to work out best ones. I was looking at 245/75/16 till I saw your 32".

Thanks

They're 265/70/17's, so according to the tyre calculator = 31.6".

They fit ok if you're willing to do a bit of trimming to the front bumper and remove the front mudflaps (if your Jeep has any), also remove the rear small cladding strip between the rear doors and rear wheel arch (or have it ripped off the next time you flex...). I don't have discos so I don't know how bad the front tyres will rub on the front bumper/inner fender, but I suspect when that day comes I'll be re-addressing the trimming on the bumper.

As far as drivability, I think they're great, the road noise doesn't annoy me one bit - can hardly notice it. No driveline issues. Haven't had any wet weather yet so not sure about the performance, however I have heard that they're good for a aggressive all-terrain.

Personaly I think they're great and would recommend them to anyone, but at the same time I can't directly compare them to anything as I've never had any other offroad tyre except the factory Goodyear Wrangler F1's which were like tyres of a boy racer's 17" Civic rims. After ages of talking to people about all-terrain tyres these became the obvious choice for me.

All australian GC have up country suspension except the overland.

The 3" lift coils will give 3" of lift over the standard WJ suspension. If you have the factory 1" "upcountry" suspension, your lift will be 2" more than what you had and 3" over standard suspension.

A better way to measure lift is from center of hub to fender. This is universal to ALL WJ's regardless of wheel diameter. Please take these measurements at each corner and let me know."

I have no idea if I had the "upcountry" suspension, but from what Hemi is saying about being around 770-780 with a 3" lift, it still is short. I've got the standard 16" wheels.

I'll measure from the centre of the hub and see what they say.
