I have been using K & N filters since the 70's on my motorcyles and agree there is a very small increase in power but I do not believe that you can feel it when you drive. The noise level increase with K & N's which makes people think they have more power. You can only see the increase on a dynamo and it is not huge or earth moving.

I've got 33's with 2" lift and stock diff's and it won't hold 130K's an hour in 6th here in the NT and stugled a little in Vic. Found a great mechanic here that know's his stuff and doesn't bullshit when I ask questions. Was gunna SuperCharge the V6 but air temp up here too hot so not really any advantage, 27degress at 5am (usually coolest part of the day) just pumpin in hot air does not make bang for buck. Turbo would work with intercooler but would rather drop a V8 in for not much more $.

Anyway, Going a Mopar Cold Air Intake (Cold air in Darwin HaHa) Gibson Stainless Cat back Split System and Hyperteck. If I have the time I will Dyno it before and after each mod and give you guys the figures cause trust me I come from Vic and it makes a HUGE difference the air and engine temp to what it pumps out the rear.
Sorry but I like to rally drive my cars and I like grunt, LOVE my jeep but would of LOVED a V8 option.
