dont know about the higher quality ARB lockers mate. Had ARB lockers before on the TJ and they are very good but never locked in without a bit of moving around first and have an air line to rip out rendering them useless. The electric lockers in my experience have been faultless and a step up on the ARB's in my experience but each to their own. Unless of course you have factual proof that the ARB's are truly better quality

If you're not sure which model to get you clearly don't NEED a Rubicon. As nice as the reduced gearing & lockers are if your requirements are as you say........

moderate offroading, camping, lift and wheels(33") a bit later on, touring and hopefully towing a camper trailer
Then any of the lesser Wranglers will be more than capable of doing the job you want. The Sport Unlimited diesel auto with 'offraod' pack would be the pick particually giving you the range required for touring/towing seeing the fuel tank size is relatively small.

It was a no Brainer for me
I'm with Mark on this 1. Add a couple of inches of lift and your into 35" tyres with minimal expense. His rig performs very well

lockers with ratios would be around $5k give or take installed
Unless your planning to climb mountains up waterfalls and more extreme offroad activities the lower ratio transfer of the rubicon is of no use to you.

Grab the diesel 5 speed auto sport with the rear locker and elec swaybar and your set for the needs you discribe as Crackles earlier stated.
