I had mine re-gassed and I shouldn't have. They're way over charged and they'll take your head off if you're not careful. Try ebay.

i just got 2 new ones for the rear window on my tj for 70 for the pair, new ones not regassed. i was told that its not worth getting the old ones done up, as the new ones i got have a 2 yr warranty. also you have to have them mounted with the shaft pointing down and the reservoir end up or they will stuff up quicker. I was going to get the ebay ones, they were 65 plus 15 post i think, for tj, so it ended up being nearly same same but i didnt have to wait for them to turn up.

Did a group buy for some parts with a friend at work from www.teamcherokee.com so we both grabbed a pair of their gas struts for USD$33 a pair (we both have the '96 model). They were an exact fit with no need to unscrew the old mounts. When you open the tailgate you need to help the door up a bit like i did with the originals so they don't threaten to knock you or the missus out when opening
