Anyway I'd look into Peabody and Xstrata coal. They are big in the mining game in NSW. Dunno if they are hiring but it would say on their website.

Some mines around Hunter valley are

Ashton
Mt Aurthur
Mt Owen
Mt Thorley
Wambo
Ravensworth
Draytons
Ulan
Willoingjong
Moolarben
Durallie

Search for their websites of info on them.

Then in the Gunnadah Basin they have Whitehaven Coal.
They seam to be increasing each year. Only going to get bigger.

There are 60 coal mines in NSW and 30 development projects
So I would look up individual mine websites on google to find out which ones need people and how to apply.

Well I don't actually know him. But his Father is the car dealer I bought my car off in Newcastle. The kid flys in and out of WA to do his electrical work.
