I just did my DIY service in December, AGC does it for me every June. Anyway, it's on my agenda to ask him about this and he should be back from leave soon, if not already.
And fear not, every time I speak to him I have a knack of proving how little I know, so he's well used to it

Thanks for the advice fellas, I'll leave the sucker alone and will not give in to the letters they occasionally send me
I checked out the Vertical Vision stuff ages ago, def looks better than what Jeep offer and their shenanigans.

My "new" Jeep hasn't had the W58 recall carried out...still outstanding. I had it done on the last one after much hesitation, nothing happened but still worries me to let any Dealer open the bonnet, let alone plug in their computer!

I will probably give in, as the last thing I want is for the engine to stop in the middle of nowhere for no obvious reason.

I need to get the cooling fan thing sorted too as it goes off when ever the DPF is getting a burn out...drives me nuts and scares nearby pedestrians too...

I am thinking so...when one gets a service history, you don't get a "driving" history.
The bloke that had this Jeep prior owned a pastoral company and was in his 70's...obviously did some country k's in it not so much an around town plodder...I mean why would you have a bull bar spot lights and a winch fitted to just drive to the local Supermarket...lol
