Anyone who doubts the fun of doorless (or drawerless) driving should watch the Top Gear Africa Special.

Just to spice the thread up

Stop sooking about your mates that made their own decision to leave the forum, Redgp was never banned at all.

He chose to leave after YOU sent several PM's to me complaining about another member 'OIIIO', who had upset Redgp and yourself.

YOU expected me to take YOUR side, which I did not and nor did I take 'OIIIO's' side! When I deleted the unsavory content of the particular thread both parties had their deleted posts referred to as "Dribble", in other words it was not necessary.

You and your mature friends then assumed that because I communicate and am mates with 'OIIIO' that I must be on his side. Wrong!

does this PM you sent look familiar?

I see you have found it, apparently all my posts were dribble and OIIIO's were just fine as you have left his alone.

A search has shown your a wheeling mate of his - my mistake.

I will let the others know that OIIIO has got your blessing.
So that you are aware, if you had of looked at the particular thread in question you may have realised that 'OIIIO' had already deleted most of his own unnecessary posts by the time I got to reading the content, so why would I then re-delete it?

But for YOU and redgp to try and involve me in your 'tit for tat' trivial dribble with 'OIIIO' was weak.

so as stated: Redgp was never banned he just left for a while at his discretion; maybe with his tails between his legs because things didn't go his way, maybe not? I would hazard a guess at the latter as both YOU and Redgp started deleting your own posts, presumably out of protest?

Redgp still has all the same access as he did in the past. Funny how he last logged into the site 13 hours ago

This subject ceases here, if you wish to continue it feel free to PM me, otherwise please stop sooking .

Nic -

Another point in your favour is covered under VSI 20 - (Vicroads - Vehicle Standards Information 20)

http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/...dsInformation/

It clearly states in Q11 on page 3 of VSI 20;

Question = Doors, my four wheel drive has removable doors, can I leave them off when driving?

Answer = VicRoads strongly recommends against this practice, particularly when the vehicle is on the road. However, if seatbelts are fitted the vehicle maybe used without the doors fitted.

If its good enough for Vic then one would hope that the powers to be can see that their reasoning in QLD are flawed.

Well there you go, if its legal in Mexico then thats good enough for me !!!, Vic rules are based upon the ADR so one could assume then these rules apply accross Australia ? Just print a copy and keep in your glove box, 15 pages and the answer was there all along.
