Sorry the fpr didnt fix it. Have you looked atthe pcv valve. If there was a leak there, you'd get rough running too

Have you established whether its definitely spark or fuel? If she's revving at 4000rpm, a spark issue would cause a definite miss and the car will jerk, whereas a fuel problem will be less severe, losing power rather than missing completely.
I've said this before and is cheap to do, is buy a timing light and put it on the coil output. I personally think it is the CPS and you need to obtain a 3rd one. You wouldn't get 3 wrong surly.

You call your Jeep a HEEP! Maybe that's the problem, Jeep's have feelings you know.

New one was installed a few weeks ago, just forgot to mention it as I have installed and replaced so many things.

Sure I have no problem buying a second OEM CPS as even if that is not the problem I don't mind having a spare, I did not buy 3, I bought 1 a year ago and thats the one that does not run really well, the other one is the one thats on the car and is still there now. I have a timing light in the garage somewhere, and what would I check with it?

But please shed some light on putting a timing light and put it on the coil output. Did I mention I replaced the coil as well!

Yeah looked at, cleaned and inspected, and also was part of checking for vacuum leaks whilst running.

I did read through all the posts a while ago but didn't see if you had removed & thoroughly cleaned the throttle body. Mine was missing similarly to your years ago and the clean is all that was needed.
