Are you in Sydney? If so who did you use?

I'm looking to get a GDE tune kit, don't really know enough about them. I know that they improve power and fuel consumption. It's the process I'm a little unclear about.

I know there is a chip that you plug in and that doesn't sound too difficult, but what's this about flashing? I'm assuming I'm flashing the ROM on some kind of on board computer, but my questions are:

1) Is this necessary? (if so why?)
2) What is the basic process? (assuming I buy both the chip and flash kit)

Have a chat with stu at Murchison products. He sells them and you get both the Eco and hot tune. From my understanding...wish I had one, you replace the cup which is near the battery, then just quickly flash to which ever one you want to use via the diagnosis port located lower left of the steering column. Just means you can hot swap

Thanks Furey. So the whole process is done by me? I'll send Stu an email in the meantime and see what he says.

Had my rear passenger brake caliper cease up on me fully extended. Had to chase down some brake pads ASAP, checked everywhere and nothing but finally found some at BHSS-TBS in Capalaba. The quality is fantastic and the price was good. Will buy from them again!
