I was worried about the same thing, i thought the curve may cause a problem but i asked another member before getting them and they had no dramas when they got theirs. It clamps down pretty tight so there is no movement at all. Its the supercheap basket btw.

The stt's are much better in the wet then the wrangler atr's i had before. I hit some heavy rain in my trip up the coast the other day and had no problems.

baskets are good as their alot cheaper then a big proper rack, and they look good with a set of lights infront of them - just add another rack
