If that question is in relation to the crappy oil cooler on the petrol autos MudMonkey ....

Who Knows ....

The in-radiator heat exchanger for the auto gearbox is in the cool side of the radiator in U.S. models and the hot side in Australia ... so even less thinking there

Not so much what I did to it but I finally received my H&T yoke today from Iron Rock, it has only been 2 months but it was on back order so I guess I know what I will be doing shortly....

Today? - I chased down an electrical short in the dash/running lights circuit, found bare contact points relative to the front headlight (park light) connectors, gotta' love that electrical insulation tape!

Hopefully the A/C thermofan override switch gets done today too, I'll see how I go for time

Additionally carvesdodo, I'm thinking that the tiny OEM transmission cooler would be perfect for use as an auxiliary engine oil cooler... thoughts?

Finally got around to giving it a wash, taking a photo or two, and listing it for sale

If anyone's interested:

G'Day Taz ....

Quite possibly ... Two of them together are ... and I stress the term ... adequate for the transmission ... so one for the motor may be a good thing if eng oil temps are a concern.

Most successful recycling of them appears to be for use with the power steering ( go jeep and other writeups ).

Yeah TBH I wouldn't have though the steering fluid would've required it, I suppose a lot of low speed manoeuvring could heat it up a little
