ok so are we of the opinion that the no drill header is better quality as far as waterproofing goes?

Trust me, the no drill header will not leak.

Manuel, you'll have to be more clear - i'm confused. Let me try and explain...
The header bar attaches with 2 clamps to the holes on the windshield where the factory top clips into. The clamp tightens when you turn a bolt on the header. The bolts do not touch the jeep at all. The header is removed by undoing the bolts, releasing the pressure on the clamp allowing the clamp the slide out of the hole. The bolt and clamp remain on the header as you leave it in the garage because the header is too big to carry around in the back.

This brings me to another point - the header is perfectly fine to be left on when you remove the bikini and drive around topless. The ony reason you'll be removing the header is when you put the factory top back on. I havn't removed my header in over a month but i remove and add the safari daily.

thanks jeeps, you hit the nail on the head. Yeah a picture of the header on its own would be great. have to say Its hard buying something when you can't see it in person, if you know what I mean.
