Ring Hyperflow, they usually have them in stock (the Samco silicon ones), and they will be much cheaper. Just make sure they have the right ones for your vehicle as there are two different sets for the KJ CRD based on the engine.

Indie

I got all my bushes and ball joint from jeepchrysler for about 230 bucks for the seven. Add the postage and you can see where you're being quoted rip off prices.

Bazz, I just got some feedback and prices from jeepchrysler and I asked if the quoted parts/prices were genuine and for off road use. This is their reply;

"All prices are for aftermarket parts........ no - we only sell the standard ones , best if you contact companies specialising in off-roading ( either in UK or US )....... most of the suspension parts we sell are made by BAW ( Taiwan )."

So I hope that the ones you got hold up okay given the hassle that has been had with the clevis bushes. The clunk in the rear end seemed to get worse today so will need to get this sorted soon.

I note Morris now sell the Mopar parts. The other recommendation is Rockauto and I'll check them out.

Can anyone tell me if the 02 2.5CRD has a 42mm or 51mm turbo?

Thanks Indie

My bushes are Raybestos and the balljoint is by Crown so don't anticipate any problems. Having said that, the closest my KJ goes to off road is the 60 metre dirt driveway I have here. It rarely gets driven in the summer, being used mainly in the winter snow. In three years I've put almost 5000 km's on it. My mate with a 2.8CRD KJ changed all his suspension bits about 40,000 km's ago using the same brand stuff [from the same company] and all is good with his truck, so far. He was the one who put me on to Jeepchrysler in the first place.

Just for info, both Crown and Raybestos are American brands and both are sold by the major Jeep spare part suppliers in the US and UK.

I got some samco hoses from hyperflow earlier this year, my 2002 2.5l was 42mm diameter, yours is Probly the same but maybe worth double checking.

Indiedog, if you get stuck I got a set of rear control arms with new Mopar bushings in it sitting on the shelf if you want just swap it over when you get yours.
