*bump

I have a Bluetooth obd2 and Torque which does not seem to read the sensors correctly on my 2.5crd, and only connects with iso9141-2 protocol. I haven't found a solution or info on this yet other than comments on Chrysler using a mixture of protocols as mentioned earlier.

Torque reads rpm as 202 at idle and coolant temp and intake temp as 215. Throttle position reads as 0 then 100% at any position other than 0.

Has anyone got any info on this?

The tool works fine on other vehicles.

There are some guys on LOST running the Torque Pro Android App on tablets and using the inbuilt bluetooth (of the tablet) to communicate with the KJ via the OBDII port (which would have a Bluetooth dongle on it). There are a couple of options regarding which OBDII Bluetooth dongle you could choose. Abit of LOST search would get you all the latest on what they are doing over there with this technology.

Thanks glend.
I emailed Ian, the developer of Torque and he pointed out that OBD2 compliance was only mandated in 2004 for diesels in the USA and Europe. So my 2002 CRD is most likely non compliant.

Oh well.

Sorry guys I didn't get back to this for a while. Yes Coopers, Diesel was late in the OBD2 setup. I had a lot of difficulties with com port issues with the bluetooth and the Dongle I purchased off ebay. I ended up getting a USB cable to work. Still have more to do. Sorry got caught up with Adelaide Jeep Club and have been sidetracked. The engine was running fine so I stopped looking at it. Still dont trust those oxy sensors though. I'll get back to this soon. I just did some mechanical work, rear wheel bearings and am looking at renovating the front axle so money and time is commited elewhere at the moment.
