Yep I'd say it was a laredo when it came from the factory.
The grille, seats orig wheels, steering wheel etc.
Plan on upgrading the seats?
Good to see so much done in a short time, GOD I miss my jeeps!

if you look real close you could make out the outline of the laredo stickers on the bonnet. i want to run a bench seat up front, i was thinking about making a faclon one fit, but i've found a guy with a split bench from a J10 so i may go down that road. also putting a coloum shift in to suit the new auto.

Things are coming along nicely Timmy.
Are you going to stay with the same motor or ?

On my endless searching the net for CJ10 parts I have seen a few CJ8 hardtops on USA sites, but mainly local pickup, saw a good one on craigslist but it has gone already, Have you had any luck on the CJ8 Forum.

I will keep an eye out for you for a hard top

Best of luck with the project

Nah original motor is staying out, SBC 350 is going in with TH400/dana300, used the AA motor mounts which are now installed, Also doing a shackle reversal up front, then it's time to dump the motor in...

I actually have a scrambler top sitting at a mates place in Texas, bought it on ebay and had it shipped to him with hopes of him sending it onto me, but the freight is the killer, so now I'm thinking i'll get another one sent to him to split the freight in half.....it would be soo much easier to get one here though...
