Just noticed a Camera wagon on the Warrego Hwy, no signs on the vehicle or dinky little sign in front saying speed camera, sneaky buggers but then by the time you would see the sign it was too late anyway. Any Van ,ute or FWD pulled up on the side of the road I check my speed nowadays.

Also should wear gloves when cleaning up your bench after drilling steel, ended up with a steel splinter in finger and at the "Emergency" at 0200 to get an IV of stuff, swollen finger with red lines radiating from it, not good, nearly ended up in the place for a day or 2. Scary stuff especially paying the bill as it was at a Private Hospital and I'm going to Double Island Point this weekend.

In SA I used to take note when I saw a Camry or Fords parked on the side of the road. In Tassie they have trailers that you can't miss. Only prob with the trailer one is that once you spot it, it has spotted you and taken a pic if you are going over, even if your 500m up the road. In Launi the police leave the trailer set up for like 10hrs. Funny thing is you can end up booked by the same camera on the way home if you are speeding and forget it was there in the morn on your way to work.

Regards A

Down here its utes wagons & sedans of any type. They are mobile though. They get you & then do a U turn & chase after you. Some of their cars look like hoon cars. I guess that is their way of getting kids to show off to them.

You must have got more than a bit of steel in your finger to do that!
We dont ask where your finger went after the splinter!

bah ha ha ha,

Doc said if I'd waited to see my GP, I would have been in trouble, so for someone who never has to go to the Doc, someone was looking over my shoulder I think.

I'm not a fighting man but last night my neighbour got me ropeable. F'n C, big argument before he pulled out the fire poker before threating to stab me with it. I said 'go your hardest'. Nearly ended up in a punch up before I left and went back to my caravan. F'r reckoned I was bludging off another mutual friend whom I helped bail out before a foreclosure on her property. Both of them are pretty much alchos, pisssd everyday from 11am. Now I gotta live next to the C and I don't know how that will go from now on. One thing I never do is bum off other people. Man when I had no money three months ago I went without and didn't even scab a beer when offered as I was not sure if I could pay the favour back. F'n AH, I would accept but bludger NFW. Man I was FO...........
