as far as tyres the KK as with the KJ look at 245/75R16 or roughly a metric 31 mud tyre, works out to be exactly 30.6" od that way you will not have rubbing but i recommend bumpstopping the rear to protect your flares, no the KK is not a JK BUT if you read the track and take a good line you will be surprised where it will get you , and a heavy right foot is only good for damaging your Jeep no matter what model you have

I wouldn't mind knowing the price of these lift kits too. Also wondering, does the different suspension effect the load rating for the roof? The 68kg roof rating is pretty small but if body roll is improved with the newer suspension could a little more weight be carried up top without any hassles?

as far as I know, Your centre of gravity (which is effected by ride hight) does not have an impact on roof rating. This rating is purely based on the amount of weight the roof can handle, without bending, irrespective of ride height.

The roof rating for 68kg is for when the vehicle is in motion, when the vehicle is stationary it can withstand much more weight than that. The reason being the effect the top heavy weight has on cornering. Sure the roof can handle more weight if the driver accounts for this and does the right thing but warranty and insurance issues arise. I just thought with a dealer fitted suspension kit (that had much better cornering ability) an engineers certificate might be available to allow extra weight to be carried without voiding warranty and insurance.
