I had a staff member 50+ year old father of two break down in tears when he was telling me. Its amazing how something like this can make people so emotional. Next few days we will forget about all of it and leave it to the social workers and pollies to do something about it. Mental illness is to blame they say. No shit! Do you need a degree to realise that a man throwing a 4 year old child of a fkn bridge is fkn crazy. I dont think so.
But you cant tell me that anyone who knows this man didnt think at some stage or another that he was NQR. We have so far to go as a society.

Totally agree with you Mr EJ.I was thinking last night that the court should throw him into the same jail cell as another Victorian pschopath, Julian Knight.They could give Julian an early birthday present of a nice stiny gun (his weapon of choice) and then I'm sure he would know what to do with that 20 cents you are talking about.

There must have been so many witnesses to this, it makes you wonder how many people actually stopped and did something.

The part I can't understand - He stopped on a busy bridge, so the people behind him had to stop also. They see him do the unthinkable and then do NOTHING and allow him to get back in the car and drive off. WTF? They are sitting in a lethal weapon for Gods sake!!!!! If they were too scared to confront him personally, then drive over the bastard. Have we really got to the stage where either we are too damn scared to do something or do we just not care anymore?

i really dont think anybody could of helped in this case it happened way to fast by the time you relise whats happening. i mean a kid who throws a kid off a bridge. and as for running him over well you would go to jail for that.and i would not want my life f>>>ed up for a piece os shit like that.

and i still stand by my license arguement plus free compulsary classes when the wife is pregnant and also every year for a couple of days till the kid is 6 would be a great help in helping parents reconnect with their 'inner child' also fortnightly emails going out to registered parents with hints and tips on raising their kids into more intelligent and curteous people this might also help parents relise why they are being so annoying at times.

Personally,
I am also shocked at what the man has done to his children, killing one and traumatising the others. But then again I am also somewhat disappointed at most of the reactions by posters here. It is in my opinion the lack of compassion shown to other people by ourselves that probably helped put this man into the position where he snapped. I'm not saying us personnaly in this case but generally. It seems that we are all quick to judge and dole out extreme punishments.

I do not belive punishing this man will help him or deter others as the people who commit them are not thinking about commiting a crime more about ending the helplessnes they feel at their situation. I think he will punish himself more than anyone else could.
