I have fitted the yellow box speedo corrector and posted a write up. It was about the same dollars as the moto mummy unit but is aussie made.
Its quite easy to fit if you can solder wires together.

Well I fitted the Yellow Box, it wasn't too hard and does the job for around $100. I set it up against a GPS speed reading and its easily adjustable so Im covered whatever tyre size I use. I picked up one more second hand, as new, tyre that had been a spare so I have two new fronts and two half worn rears. I have also got a BB, against all good advice and just need time to fit it. It will stop the rubbing and the lip cutting the tyres. I would prefer new springs but then there's shocks and isolators and my other half lost her job a few months ago so thats it for $ for the foreseeable future.

Oh and love the ksmith been subbed to that thread for a while now.

Does anyone have any more info on that yellow box speedo module? Their website isn't the greatest. I am looking into having jeep correct my computer but I hate to think how much that would cost.
I went through their web site www.YellR.com and its a bit average as you say but they emailed me back and we discussed the aplication and they where very helpfull so I wouldnt worry too much.

Yeah, def worthwhile getting your speedo corrected, knowing for sure what speed you're doing and not guessing.

I went down the SpeedoDrd route, easy enough to install and corrected a 30.0% underread. Max correction is 99.9%

Speedo/GPS
40/52
60/78
100/130

Installation as per theksmith's.

I would have my license suspended for a few months, points deducted and cop a huge fine I'm sure if the speedo wasn't corrected. Ask me how I know lol. That was 11 years ago

To update my story of cheapish wheels & tires, I measured my hub to fender height it seemed quite low compared with measurements I was reading in other treads. I put my BB spacers in and it has stopped most of the rubbing, I still get a tiny bit reversing out of my driveway on full lock but i can live with that. I think the spacers have probably put the height back somewhere near the new height and it feels like they have added a little preload to the springs and reduced the wobbly butt thing a bit. The Jeep drives beautifully and looks comfortable sitting on the taller tires, I 'kin love it!

Going from a 235/65/17 tire to a 245/70/17 tire has increased the gearing enough for me to notice the change but not enough to matter to me so far. I have dropped 200 RPM at 100 km/h and picked up 2 litres/100k fuel consumption, town & country, according to the computer. Towing my Jayco Dove Outback, I am still not sure, it seems about the same.

Does anyone tow with a WG? Do you tow in overdrive or do you turn it off?

Thanks for your interest guys, here are some pics of the Jeep with the wheels, tires & 2" BB.
