the seriousness of this overwhelms alot of us small minded people

also even thought i consider myself a fairly large user of ausjeepoffroad i find it hard to nominate because i still do not know the users that well because i have not dealed with them and i think alot of the ausjeep users would be in the same boat

But yeah where are the regular users that do know who they can nominate ???

I agree with Sam.I have no idea who to nominate for what.

I would imagine JB and the other staff/moderators would know who is best for what as they all know each other anyway......?

Too be honest there are SOO many people on AusJeep with such a wide range of talents it truly is difficult to suggest the best people for each role, and that’s without knowing what their availability to undertake the nominated roles is etc….. So my approach has been to look at those that are in the top 40 posters group, and picking those that I think could do the nominated role….not to say they are the best etc just my guess…..
Position 1. Vendor Liaison ................ MattC, TIGGER, AussieCJ7
Position 2. Product Support ................ Grant, SirCamel, MattW
Position 3. Yarn Sprawler................ Gordo, Chrispy, Kyro
Position 4. Promotions Officer................ Gordo, Chrispy, Ben
Position 5. Competitions Promoter ................SteveF, CJBrad, Steve

Anyways that's just my guesses

I agree too.
I know users well enough to vote for them in January, but I wouldn't actually dob them in for the position now.

Maybe the big names should be volunteering themselves?

Would it be an option to have some of these key positions nominated by state, then such position holders as vendor liason, promotions etc. would be able to soley concentrate on businesses in their region / state. This would allow for more personal relationships with sponsors, businesses and events etc. and cover a larger spectrum of the AJ community, easing the burdon on the nominated members. Just a thought?
