Did some more work this afternoon, bent up the returns and tacked them on. Not as easy as it sounds as the rear tapers in so getting the shape on the ends of the bar was a bit of a pain. Also bending up the returns was tricky making sure they were both spot on. Also added the nuts to the strip running into the frame and checked they lined up with the towbar and bashplate for the tank.
Anyway some pics. This is the first return I made, they need trimming to match the body lines as they taper up as it goes towards the bar. I used some nice little powerfull magents to stick it to the body and get the spacing right.
It looks tapered here but it isn't yet, the folds taper upwards though.
Tacked on, you can see a lot needs trimming, it will be cut back on top level with the taillights and boxed under them.
Weight wise it's less than I thought, I'll weigh it when I'm done
