ARB corporate are covering the deposit for goods (if you put down 10% or 20% on some gear then will honor the deal provided you pay the balance) which is sort of ok.
UNLESS
You paid in full, in advance, then never got what you ordered, then they don't give a shít
Bit of a sux to be me story eh? just brilliant. Wonder how much of this Troy knew when he accepted the 5k cheque for the group buy on DP chips? with a "secured" creditor "the Bank" owed heaps then all the other regulars punters out there are screwed.
IMO: Brings to mind that given it was less than a month after we gave em the cheque that they were trading while insolvent, that seems a little bit on the nose to me.
Which is why I made the comment on the 'Rubicon Express' thread. We did not actually purchase ANYTHING from ARB City Southern (I thought) we were dealing with Jeepers HQ, a completely seperate entity......apparently

yep, after talking to a guy at the firm now in charge of the JHQ scam hes amazed they were still ordering gear off shops like us so close to the fold date. there must have been knowledge of the possability of the closure and old mate troy.............whats that old saying, cant trust em as far as you can throw em. thats how I and some other 4b4 shops see it now. its bs they ripped supplewirs and customers off. BS.
Not that I know but I think you'll find Troy was the pawn in this one.
Anyone who had met the guy that used to run ARB Southside can draw their own conclusions on his ethics but I always had my skin crawling when I had to talk to him, sleeeeeezy to the core. I'd be suggesting Troy way just ordering stuff with his ok that cash was good.
Anyway - lets hope bloody Wooders doesn't decide to open a retail shop anytime soon - we need at least one place to buy bits from.
