I don't mine the proto can design, but prefer more tube design bit like the xrox bars

The fuel tank skid on the Protofab one is great at what it does. I've bashed and dented it several times on rocks. I've also collected heaps of mud and sand from scooping them up. A bit like a grader at work. The piece however is going to get cut up when I cut the wheel well, make a new 150l tank, new skid and raise it 6". The stock tank sits too low, like a wet nappy IMHO.


While I do not own a WK2, I reckon a fully sick steel bumper with a tyre carrier with enough clearance for high lift jack, 2 recovery points and a standard rated receiver hitch would be fantastic.
