Just mod two files and upload naviserver2 and before you do upload, photograph your settings page first to show original vaviserver version, then upload and recheck the unit has changed vaviserver version is there. Your old maps still work. Confirm this before moving to maps is a must! Then move on to installing the new maps

Finally got updated iGo maps running this morning. No idea why but was getting 'undefined' naviserver and maps until I put the original 2 licenses back in. Starts now and touch wood seems to be ok bar one problem. I'm unable to enter an address!
All letters are greyed out when I try, postcode option is gone, and if I try change state I can only select Australia but it stays as WA, Australia.

So close... any suggestions?

Probably should add that although map is updated it still states 2014 as map database. All original maps have been deleted

First, Rob, in content, just look into the 5 sub folders you have to see all the world wide maps. You are only going to remove the five folder contents as per my tute and upload your IGO maps. Your master download just completed allows you to see what is there and keep aside until you are finished.

Zx6r6, yes it may say 2014 for some reason. What you have is definitely have is a licensing issue and/or map file as the naviserver2 is working. So rather than guess, just do a download of content and lyc again to ensure all files are present (we do this extra because we have no monitor). Not searching the address and defaulting to WA is a basemap / map / licensing issue so your focus is checking your work as using an old license and new maps is not right.

Then check for all licenses. Hopefully you have obtained all lyc files off the rooted android vs just the one public lyc file.

Thanks Mousie! I've uploaded the modded .sh files and the system shows a slightly different version, but my old maps still work.
My issue now is that I can't locate the IGO maps! I found the licence files, three of them. But for the life of me, I can't get to the general maps. On my rooted phone, it says the app is 400 odd mb data and 300-odd mb user file, so it's there somewhere
I'll keep searching...

The only license I didn't put in was the trybuy one, will put in shortly but not holding my breath. All other folder contents seem to match up with others I've seen.
Did you upload a different global_cfg.zip?
On another note, how did you create you directory structure list? I've been cp'ing everything back to usb to check but it takes ages and doesn't show permissions

cheers for your help!
