OK emac and ATOMICPUNK - it's time to agree to disagree and move on from this verbal tennis match for everyone else's sake.....We need more Federer vs Nadal around here and not Tomic vs Kyrgios!

Whilst you both make valid points, it is quite clear that you are not going to meet eye to eye on this one.

Let's just be happy that we have so many knowledgeable and passionate people on here with an interest in the same thing - Jeeps.

I thought I'd pop my 2c worth in, I have a WJ, so I guess not quite a valid comparison , but at 84K on Iridiums I'm very happy with them. I got 32K out of the previous NGK's and about 8K out of the horrid Bosch before them.
Prices are a very valid point, they are dearer, about double the equivalent NGK at the time (I've got NGK Iridiums in ATM), but as you can see they are proving their value so far, in mileage in the car, in fuel efficiency ( I got roughly 1.2 l/100km better mileage) and just simple convenience through not having to change plugs each year.
I also use Iridium plugs in my motorcycles, and my Barina, all with similar feedback.
My opinion and experience only, ymmv.

Excellent, now thats more realistic, thanks Doug.

What model NGK iridiums are you using?
also, are they resistor models 'R' or 'Z'?

Cheers.
