Well, I reckon the AEV fuel caddy is fantastic - not that it was available in 2008
.
It carries 38L (almost two jerries worth) and nestles nicely between the spare and the rear door. The tyre carrier opens with the door and also doubles as a shovel carrier, hi-lift jack carrier, CB areal mount and rear flood light mount. It is also available without a rear bumper, though the tyre carrier is required. At $550 the fuel caddy itself seems expensive but if you're considering upgrading the lot the cost of the rear bumper, tyre carrier and fuel caddy combined do seem fair for what you get, at least I thought so
