Well Simsy ,

Got my k&n filter for $97.00 and have placed one in my gq patrol , and my rubicon , and have noticed an increase in both power and economy in both my fourbies . Am now averaging around 11.8l country and 13.4 around town .

Okay............... stupid question time

Where can I buy a paper air filter for my 08 JK ?
Also...... where is the air filter
I've been out a few times lately where the car has been almost unrecognisable due to the thick coat of dust, noticed the car has been a bit sluggish lately.
Car has done 26,000k's so is due the new filter.....

Get the paper filter thru any jeep dealer
Air filter is at the front of the engine bay on drivers side
I've done almost 60,000kms in my crd and it's had about 7 or 8 filters

sure thats not a K&N pod filter Simsy for that price. I likewise got a K&N filter for $90. Only benefit i see with the paper filter is it filters better than the synthetic K&N but in saying that i have had no issues with mine letting anything through.
I do one mud run and my paper filter was stuffed so i'd rather a recleanable K&N

Yet the other mob wanted it for the day to probably do the same thing .
Who is this knowledgeable dealer mechanic in Sydney, I have yet to find one.
