Hi all I'm new here, I just recently purchased a 97 XJ Cherokee, some of you
May have seen it around Mackay the last week?? It's black 35's 6" lift Claytons long arm kit baja/trophy truck style roof rack.

Thought I'd post up here might be good to catch up and meet some
People. Won't hit the tracks till I get some rock sliders!!

Howdy, I'm in Dysart with my 97 Grand Cherokee and keen for some wheeling soon after I fix a couple of things. Sporting a modest 2.5 in lift. Its all in the line!

Jeeps everywhere in Mackay, and all the makes you could think of. Plenty of tricked up TJ's, JK's and XJ's, half a dozen SRT8's, a few done up WG's & WH's, and plenty of the rest. If you present the Jeep salute to those you drive past you will soon realize unfortunately that not many at all are familiar with the AJOR life.
Many great places within day trip distance to go wheeling. Although not Jeep specific, there are two 4wd clubs in Mackay and both have a healthy reputation.
Welcome to Jeeping and hope you enjoy the drive up from Brisbane on the weekend.
