JTO..... wtf are those "can" shaped things sticking out the front ?
Are you certain that they don't fit between the bar and chassis somehow as impact adsorbers or some such.

I'd also be very wary of putting any signifiant load on the "recovery point" it just doesn't look the goods to me.

igtymouse,

The crush cans you see are welded on the MOPAR bar and are covered by plastic caps which I have installed now. Gonna cut these off and mount the recovery points there instead - http://www.purejeep.com/proddetail.php?prod=PJ6000

Whew...... that's a relief, it just didn't look right as it was. Still everyone has likes and dislikes, but it wasn't for me. Caps i can understand

Oh and the recovery points seem to pick up the standard mounting points ( which is good ) - DBOR also have the same recovery points on their bar as bolt on's so you could save yourself some effort.
I don't think they list them as a seperate part..... ( actually haven't looked ) but Bills never minded "odd" requests from me before so why not try them ?

Thanks for the heads up mightymouse, may have to hit Bill up for some

Now comes the tweaking for the bumpstops, went out to Ripley today with the kids for fun and some measurements at the same time. The 35's fill those wheel arches well with the 3" lift. Get my finger out and fit those extended brake lines as well that are sitting there.....

Oh and the young bloke doing better on the hill in the TJ than his old man

Well I finally got around to fitting the Poly Performance extended brake lines and they went on a treat. Only about a 30 minute job. Now no more just ablout pulling the lines off and the reubbing of the factory lines on the shocks.
