I am using thread tape too, worked wonders on my oil pressure guage sender
Looks as though I may be doing the head gasket after all... found the remains of what appears to be some sort of stop leak . Bugger it, cheap insurance I suppose...

Today i cut the front quarter panels, as to fix the panel damage that i did on my last trip.....front wheel rubbed on panel at full flex......


Bullbar off.....


cut left


cut right


finished job

Finally put my rear springs in today. Next job is to fit the DoubleBlack Offroad flares and cut/trim the gaurds.

Will see how it settles after a few more k's are on the clock

Well due to not being able to get time off to goto Camp Coffs, I did a more local trip instead. Headed up to Wyperfeld national park for the long weekend and checked the place out.

1200Kms
3 fuel stops
0 open bonnet issues
0 overheating issues
50 new pin stripes
1 broken roof rail
1 massive smile

Cut in new bonnet vents. Yep heard all the pros and cons, went with it anyway. Cooler inside the cabin so far, happy with the results.
