Mate of mine got e-bay ones and they broke the spot where they mount on eventually,then he got the proper ones.

i have had ebay ones on my xj for 10 months now with no problem. I did swap the swivel end off the old ones onto the new ones.

pulled out the headlight switch, no headlights. checked fuses / wiring etc. switch buggered. so i'll be doing the rounds tomorrow for a replacement switch. my first real XJ issue

While you're at it do the headlight loom upgrade, it takes all the load off the switch and you get brighter lights as well!!!!
