Thanks for the tip mate. What did you seal it with? Don't want to silicon if I need to use them. Some sort of rubber plug?

One question for you, what are the six rubber grommets, about an inch dia for?

I sealed mine up with silicon, ill just dig it out if i need to use it again, i even siliconed up the joints between the bars because i was getting some rust drips there.
A rubber plug should do the job though. I did have a few extra holes in mine from mounting lights on the bar.

no idea what the 6 grommets are for, i didnt get anything like that in my kit.

Haha. There not on the site. This was the first set dbor has shipped. Contact them for a quote. They were by far the cheapest (incl freight) I found.

best looking rack I've have seen for the JK without a doubt. Most of the others I've seen look like flower baskets.

Interested to know the static and dynamic load capacity for these (couldnt see the figures on the quadratec website).Would love a setup like this to be able to run a rooftop camper

Fitted the EFS springs and shocks I've had sitting under the house for nearly a year. I say "the" EFS kit as I believe it was the original JK prototype/testing kit from another forum member.

So far so good, thanks to JasperJ for the motivation and more than helping with the install.
