Ripped the rear inner guards out and coated with underbody deadener in preparation for new wheels and tyres.

Ha! Well there's no going back now, 15" steelies and 31"General Grabber AT2's are due to go on early next week (just waiting I the next shipment of Generals to arrive in WA) .Will take you up on rolling the guards though

Hard to imagine my KJ sitting taller than yours!

Just got my provent today, will fit on the weekend. Also replacing my fuel filter. Will do myself, so if I don't blow myself up I will report back.

Ok fuel filter was changed and I didn't start any fires. Incredibly difficult to take off (wouldn't turn) but got there in the end.

After doing that and cleaning the EGR sensor, wow, what a difference. Accelleration seems much smoother and nowhere near as much smoke out the back. Recommend the EGR clean to anyone running a CRD especially if you've never done it before. The valve was so clogged I literally had to dig the gunk out of it. Got it all nice and clean and re-inserted.

You will need an allen key to remove it, yes an allen key....You will also need to be double jointed to get your hand in at the right angle to get to the bolt...but that's another story...

Cleaning the sensors is a big plus, just have to be careful with them not to damage them, but makes a huge difference to running,
