PM is a private message.
Try this with your car and let me know how you go.

1. Turned my car on (engine running) checked that the 4wd service message was still occurring when I pulled the low 4wd)

2. turned my car off keys out. opened the bonnet.

3. Went to the fuse box under the bonnet took fuse labelled fdcm/ediff

4.Shut bonnet, got in my car started it with the fuse out put it in drive, drove 2metres forward then put it in reverse drove is 2 m backwards. (Be aware you will get the service 4wd light without pulling up the lever as you are driving)

5. Turned my car off keys out went to the bonnet put fuse back in shut bonnet

6. Started my car put it in drive got the car rolling just below 5kmph (as this makes it easer to slip into low 4wd read manual) knocked it into neutral while rolling pulled the low 4wd switch and it worked

Patience,

Is the correct fuse number 25 in the Power Distribution Centre (the black box closest to the firewall) ie F25 20 Amp Yellow FDCM (Final Drive Control Module) / Electronic differentials ?????

Excuse my ignorance but just want to be sure I yank the right one. There are many fuses that refer to the FDCM.

Thanks

Pull fuse #25 for years 2005-2007. Pull fuse #33 for 2008-2010. Fuse is in the Power Distribution Center Fuse Box which is under the bonnet, black box closest to firewall.

Default Safety Recall N23 for WH anyone had it done yet?

I rang my service dealer today as my low will not engage following update. He said I was semiconductor this week and has ordered new actuators. Hope it works. I assume the expense will be to Jeep.
