Took off the oil filter adapter. Man those things are tight. I first put a 10mm spanner on the T60 torx bit and stuck my jack handle over it but the spanner bent before the bolt undid.

Pulled the welder out, put the torx bit in a 19mm nut (the largest ring spanner that the jack handle would fit over) and came up with this to do the job.



Also pulled the rocker cover off for a new gasket, the oil leaks will be gone soon

Broke the mount on the passengers side shockie , I wasn't even wheeling looks like the shock isn't damaged hopefully the financial controller will let me get a full set of new ones

Finally got around to fixing indicators. Also noticed what a shit fight the wiring under the dash was so spent the day rewiring the jeep thanks to the last owner. Also when I was doing this had a nice little suprise rock up. My new black rock rims I ordered from the states.

Few more little things I want to do to get the XJ to a decent reliable base before I start with the fun mods (lift, tyres etc) but slowly getting there.
