Rebuilt the starter today with new solenoid, brushes and bendix for about a third of the cost of a decent starter.

I got a knock on the door this morning and was all smiles when I seen the courier with a package for me.signed for it and wasted no time ripping the box open.
My new Tom Woods rear shaft!!my reason for been so excited is that I destroyed the last one about four months ago!!and having a young daughter and not much work money is tight as.
It took me all of five mins to put it in and was super keen to get out for a drive.
Now as I said things were tight in the funds department I'd been driving around on the front shaft only In high 4.i understand this is not good, but goes to show the old girl is pretty tough considering I had to move house and did 300 kms on the highway.
Now I thought I'd check the front shaft cause of the abuse she had taken and it seems to have a lot of play, like you can turn it side to side a bit.question is,is this the unis??and if so how to fix it???
Cheers!!
