Saw a pick of the new nissan. Looks like the 200 series which looks like an oversized kluger. Like the toyota it appears nissan are going soft also and putting independent upfront

yep, horses for courses i guess. most people who buy them use them as town vehicles or as vehicles to tow a caravan on holidays, and do some mild offroad work somewhere along the road. very good on rough roads, excellent fording ability and towing ability and comfort. but if you want a real dedicated offroader you would still use something like a wrangler with large lift, locking diffs and and big tyres. without warranty of course. depends what you want.

its a shame really. 2 of the big offroad players are now just city slickers. Nissan atleast had a point of difference to toyota, until now.
Not that it matters i have a Jeep, what else is there really!

You know what...i'd buy that if it was as capable as it looks. Especially if it came in 4 door.
