ive just gone for the cheap option of hacking the flare and putting some garden edging on but in the future would love some xenon's!
I got them from JeepKonection, great service and fast shipping. The xenons are awesome, they gave me heaps more clearance over the bushwackers I was running and are so much more flexible. heres the link - http://www.jeepkonection.com.au/prod..._TJ_TUBE_FLARE

Just changed the transfer case fluid on my lunch break

Man were those drain & filler plugs tight - ended up using a 10mm allen key in a socket with a breaker bar to crack them after a whack with a hammer and some innox

But it's all good

Well I finally got the Daystar EVS shock bump stops fitted, got one of the fitters at my work to machine up an install tool for me, then on Friday night I found a little time to install the two rears, and um, me thinks the 2 x 10mm spring spacers will be coming out.

The additional pressure in these puppies jacked the back up at least 1". This combined with the RE 4.5" springs and new Bushcracker Flat flares = a whole lotta wheel well to draw crabs.

Will be increasing the bump stop height.

Ian & Andy - thanks for the encouragement (beers) and ass-istance. Ian did you identify the source of that gas leak?

Went wheeling for the first time Saturday since getting front and rear Detroit lockers in. It was a rainy day in Victoria and we headed to the Otway National Park. I was pretty impressed with how different the rig was. Getting to know the lockers in town had been interesting with little squeels here and there (mainly in car parks) but on the trail they just rocked. There was so much more reliable traction that the TJ felt completely different.

The decision to go with Detroits over ARB air lockers had been difficult but in the end I was convinced that reliability was what mattered most and I was reassured that in town in 2wd the front locker will never lock.

Very happy.....just need more aggressive trails next,

Willo.
