and manged 800klm after purchase, without breakdown.


The red xj managed 32klm of its 800klm, after purchase trip, before breakdown.

The ******** mud pit was pretty extreme ..... and XJ recovery was needed.

Nearly put the 6 new sand mats to use for extra traction .....

But they werent needed for final recovery ....

Finally spent a couple of hours taking the brakes off the D35 and slowly pulling it out so I can put the D44 in, hope to have the swap done tomorrow, depends how long it takes to get the mounts welded on and to cut the shock mounts off the D35 and weld them on to the D44.

Fitted rebuilt heavy duty front drive shaft today .After test dive found rear diff has a lot play at the pinion not happy Jan....
