Early Jeep TJ Wrangler Repco part numbers:

Differential Pinion Seal (front and rear on the 1997 TJ): Kelpro 97800
Real wheel bearing kit: SKF WBK2986
Uni Joints: (Ford part) K5-13XR

_________________________________________________

The Seat cable that makes the seat base lift up (not the reclining cable): Part #04886309AA from Jeep

This is what fits my 1997 TJ anyway. Might be good if people added their own part numbers to this list. Get a bit of a database happening...

Since I`m about to do this myself, thought I`d share some info I found on replacing front Wheel bearing assembly on the TJ.

Good call Bundy,

These are one of the parts that are often overlooked with TJ maintenance. I reckon that if everyone checked theirs, heaps would find movement in the hubs.

Absoloute piece of p!ss to do and not that expensive if you buy from the right place...

Yeah i`m actually playing the "process of elimination" game for death wobbles.

Jacked front up today, Drivers side..... fine

Passenger side........ WOAH! bahahahahaha

Hopefully this will solve my woes.

My list so far to "try" and eliminate death wobbles...

New Tie-rod with wheel allignment.
Modify panhard diff mount with larger bolt. to remove a bit of play that I found.
Replace front passenger lower control arm. (still stock though)
and now the WHEEL BEARING!

Hope this will be the end
