Toyota would have dropped 5-7K off the prado without a trade in.

Guys alway get your best price on a car first, then tell the pricks you have a trade in and watch the their jaws drop when they realise they then need to give you a good deal on that as well as the new car..

Also looking on Redbook I noticed there not much difference in price between the Diesel and the Rubi now as well.

Much as it would feel ok to "screw the dealer screwing you" I would be hate to be the poor bugger who eventually found out after buying it from the dealer, they may or may not get the dealer to fix it, much as if I had brought a Rubicon privately and then worked out months later it was genuine but had been stripped back to Sport specs.

oh the reality of stealerships... is so harsh.....
