My thoughts are rated recovery points (or are they standard????), an arb bullbar, tubular sidesteps and a set of Lightforce 240xgt's. Do the 240's fit on the arb bullbar??? Am I better to spend the money on anything else first??? Chrome or Black bullbar and sidesteps???
Most of my driving will be around town and highway, but am looking to go bush a bit too and find some mud!!! Also I am looking at heading to Fraser Island just after easter, is there anything that I should be buying first in light of this??? Have thought about spending some of the doe on tyres, but with going to Fraser, might leave the tyres till after that...
Thoughts please.....

mmm lights... letmesee
Well - IMHO if your lens and lens protector arn't made of Lexen then they are GOING TO BREAK - so get lightforce
Go into almost ANY 4x4 shop to look at em yourself, see if they will do the standard "hit em with something big and heavy" test - if you don't start smiling like a madman then you might not need em.
Plus - just compare the light output from say a set of 240's to just about anything else, these babies are focusable & BrIgHt
- you will never regret getting them.
Apart from lights - for the first couple of months (or maybe longer) just get two rated (10000 lbs) recovery points front and if your not getting a 50 mm square hitch reciever towbar, then get two more on the rear. Plus an ARB snatch strap with two rated "D" shackles - this will be your MOST used piece of recovery gear for a very long time.
A stock wrangler is pretty capable, just be wary of buying stuff over and over again - cheap lights are an example. In the same way that not spending the extra $250 on your shocks to get Rancho 9000's instead of OME's with the 2" lift will see you replacing them at full price later on.
Main thing to do - always checks vital fluids of car after big outiongs, especially if you play in the mud or water, this is covered by a minor service if your not up to it yourself.
Have a great time jeeping and may the (light)Force be with you
